Relationship with God

A relation of compassion, an exchange of love,
Our alliance with God is a gift from the heavens above,
Sometimes we listen, many times we don’t,
Protecting us always, leave us he won’t.

What happens to us is for our highest good,
This belief in destiny makes you strong like wood,
Many choices however, are in our hands,
We can choose to be a king in a palace or a pauper in the sands.

Whatever you choose, the fact is clear,
To Him always, you’ll be his dear,
In moments of sadness and in moments of happiness,
She’ll love you always, forever she’ll bless.

Mistakes are made, from experiences we learn,
Being happy is what we truly yearn,
There’s no losing in life, just different choices,
Listen to your heart, your inner voices.
